Pixar Animation Studios is a computer animation company specializing in 3D graphics production and based in Emeryville, California (United States). Throughout its success story has garnered numerous awards for his short films, feature films andtechnical achievements, awards and 22 Academy Award, four Golden Globes and 3 Grammys.
Pixar was the creator of the first fully animated feature computer business, Toy Story, whose premiere took place on November 22, 1995 in the United States. After Toy Story has 12 other films: Bug's Life A Bug's Life (1997), Toy Story 2 (1999), Monsters,Inc. (2001), Finding Nemo (2003), The Incredibles (2004), Cars (2006), Ratatouille (2007), WALL · E (2008), Up (2009), ToyStory 3 (2010), Cars 2 (2011), Brave (2012) and Monsters University (2013)
On January 24, 2006, the Walt Disney agreed to buy Pixar for 7,400 million dollars with a transaction on all actions (all-stock).The acquisition was completed on May 5, 2006 (exchanging Pixar Disney by 2.3 parts), making Pixar a wholly-owned subsidiaryof Disney.




Animation DreamWorks SKG, Inc. is an independent American animation studio which primarily produce computer-animated films, among which are Shrek, Shark Tale, Madagascar, Bee Movie, Kung Fu Panda, Monsters vs. Aliens, How to Train YourDragon and Megamind. It was formed by the merger of the role of animation division of DreamWorks SKG and Pacific Dates and Images (PDI). Originally under the banner of DreamWorks SKG, was launched as a public company in 2004.
Currently distributed only through Paramount Pictures (in turn owned by Viacom), which acquired the rest of DreamWorks SKGin February 2006. DreamWorks Animation maintains two studios: the study of typical Dreamworks Animation in Glendale(California) and PDI studies in Redwood City (California).
